लीवर कैंसर का खतरा कम करती है एस्पिरिन

महीने में एक बार एस्पिरिन लेने पर लीवर कैंसर का खतरा कम हो जाता है। यह लीवर की अन्य बीमारियों से मौत के खतरे को भी कम कर देता है। भारतीय मूल के एक वैज्ञानिक के नेतृत्व में किए गए अध्ययन में यह बात कही गई है।

नेशनल कैंसर इंस्टीट्यूट के डॉ. विक्त्रात सहस्त्रबुद्धे के नेतृत्व में शोधकर्ताओं ने पाया कि जिन लोगों ने महीने में एक दिन एस्पिरिन लेने की बात कही, उनमें लीवर कैंसर होने का खतरा 49 प्रतिशत कम पाया गया।

द टेलीग्राफ की रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि एस्पिरिन लेने वाले लोगों के अगले 10 वर्षो तक लीवर की बीमारियों से मरने की आशका 50 प्रतिशत कम पाई गई। यह शोध नेशनल कैंसर इंस्टीट्यूट के जर्नल में प्रकाशित हुआ है। इसमें 50 से 71 वर्ष की आयु के तीन लाख लोगों को शामिल किया गया।

टेलीग्राफ में प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि एस्पिरिन की गोली खाने वाले लोगों में 50 फीसद तक कैंसर से मौत की आशका भी कम हो जाती है।

अनुसंधानकर्ताओं ने अपने शोध में ये भी पाया कि कैंसर के खतरे को कम करने के अलावा एस्पिरिन की गोली लोगों को हार्ट अटैक और ब्रेन स्ट्रोक के खतरे से भी बचाती है। इसके सेवन से केवल बुखार और बदन दर्द का इलाज ही नहीं होता बल्कि ये कई जानलेवा रोगों से भी बहुत हद तक आपको दूर रख सकती है।

सहस्त्रत्रबुद्धे ने बताया कि कैंसर से बचाव में कारगर इस शोध में पहली बार इतना बड़ा मरीजों और स्वस्थ लोगों का नमूना लिया गया है।
